Our history
The roots of our company go back to the late 1980s.
Although not yet operating in its current legal form, the founding partners laid the groundwork for today’s organization through a series of ventures — from launching retail chains and engaging in investment, restructuring, and M&A advisory, to pursuing the entrepreneurial vision of opening up the GUS market for European businesses.
GUS states have always been an attractive market — but one that’s notoriously complex and difficult to navigate.
From intricate customs regulations and fragmented distribution networks to government-influenced institutions and the sheer geographic scale of the region, it quickly becomes clear that the GUS countries differs significantly from most other export markets in terms of language, organization, and business culture. With this understanding, we developed the full infrastructure necessary for successful market entry — offering a truly integrated service across the entire value chain. In addition, we established specialized departments for restructuring, interim management, turnaround, M&A services, and created our own investment company.
Over the years, our strong regional network has also enabled us to support businesses moving in the opposite direction. Today, we assist numerous international companies with deep-entry strategies into the EU market — facilitating B2B connections and helping optimize structures and procurement conditions across the supply chain through our sourcing expertise.
